This enables the access control feature, allowing you to unlock doors or gain entry only when you are on-site.
- We access location data only when you actively attempt to use the access control feature in the app (e.g., during check-in or door unlock).
- Location data is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers, shared with third parties, or used for any other purpose (such as tracking, advertising, analytics, or profiling).
- No background location access occurs (the app does not monitor your location when not in active use for access control).
- You can deny location permission at any time via your device settings, though this will prevent use of the access control feature.
- We take reasonable steps to protect any transiently processed data in accordance with industry standards.
12. Fitness and Workout Data
To provide core features of the TrainOn app and services-such as tracking your workouts, logging gym check-ins, monitoring progress, and facilitating service usage (e.g., scheduling classes or reporting interactions)-we collect and process fitness information.
This includes:
- Details about your workouts and physical activities that you voluntarily log or input into the app (e.g., exercise type, duration, sets/reps, notes, or completed sessions).
- Records of gym check-ins or facility access usage (e.g., timestamps and confirmation of presence for entry/unlock features).
- Other usage metrics related to how you interact with our services (e.g., progress tracking, training plan adherence, or activity summaries derived from your inputs).
We do not collect sensitive health data such as medical records, symptoms, vital signs (e.g., heart rate, blood pressure), genetic information, or any inferred physiological metrics unless you explicitly provide them (which is not required for core functionality).
How we use this data
- To enable and personalize your fitness tracking experience, generate progress reports, suggest improvements to your routines, and deliver the core services of the app (e.g., workout history, check-in verification, and usage-based features).
- To improve the app's functionality, analyze aggregated usage patterns (without identifying individuals), and ensure reliable service delivery.
This fitness information is collected only with your active input or during permitted use of features (e.g., when you start a workout log or initiate a check-in).
